Resistance (2003)

In the throes of World War II, on the ominous date of January 16, 1944, a daring American reconnaissance pilot, Major Theodore 'Ted' Brice, crashes in the Nazi-enslaved town of Delahaut, Belgium. His survival is nothing short of a miracle, and he is discovered by a young boy, Jean Benoit, who leads him to the safe harbor of Claire and Henri Daussois, courageous members of the Maquis Resistance. As Ted recuperates under their care, he is caught in a whirlwind of emotions and duty. His mission is clear - retrieve a crucial book of codes lying in the wreckage of his plane, a site zealously guarded by the Nazis. However, a storm of forbidden love brews between him and Claire, Henri's wife, adding a dangerous twist to the tale.
