Plot

In the heartrending film "Reparation," Air Force veteran Bob Stevens, a small-town vegetable farmer, is caught in a tempest of forgotten memories, his past a three-year void. His tranquil life begins to fray at the edges when a cryptic stranger, Jerome, emerges, claiming to be a long-lost comrade from their Air Force Police days. Bob's family is swept up in this maelstrom of confusion, but none more so than his young daughter, Charlotte. With her innocent artistry, Charlotte inadvertently uncovers clues to her father's buried past, becoming the unexpected key to unlocking his lost memories. As she learns, life presents us with disarray, and in response, we find our own ways to restore equilibrium. This universal quest for balance forms the pulsating core of "Reparation." When the past comes knocking, bringing with it a cascade of questions and unspoken truths, Bob's world begins to teeter on the brink. As the storm of his forgotten history threatens to consume them, each family member must grapple with a powerful psychological whirlwind. "Reparation," a winner of 11 film festival awards, is a riveting psychological thriller that deftly intertwines the complexities of memory, the power of art, and the universal pursuit of balance. Like a cyclone, the narrative surrounds you, pulling you into a vortex of suspense and discovery, demanding nothing less than your complete immersion.
