Rapid Fire (1989)

In the adrenaline-fueled saga of "Rapid Fire," Mike Thompson, a hardened ex-U.S. government operative, is summoned back into the line of duty by his decidedly straight-laced former boss, Hanson. The mission: to thwart the volatile terrorist, Mustapha, who has executed a daring escape from a maximum-security military dungeon aboard a battleship, with the aid of Eddy Williams. Williams, a once-reliable agent turned rogue mercenary, wields a fearsome machine gun with rapid-fire capabilities, a weapon the U.S. government is desperate to reclaim. Thrust back into the world of covert operations, Mike must grudgingly rekindle an alliance with his estranged partner, Pappy, and an enigmatic CIA agent, Corle. Together, they embark on a relentless race against the clock to locate Eddy, hoping he will inadvertently lead them to the elusive Mustapha.
