Queen of Blood (1966)

As the dawn of the '90s breaks, Earth is thrust into an unexpected interstellar saga when an alien species reaches out through the static-filled ether of radio transmission, signaling their imminent arrival. However, their visit takes a turn for the catastrophic, as their spacecraft plunges into the barren red landscape of Mars, sparking a desperate rescue mission from Earth. Dr. Farraday, a figure of scientific authority, assembles a brave team of astronauts, including the stalwart Allan Brenner and the composed Paul Grant, who journey across the star-studded void to the red planet. Amidst the twisted wreckage, they uncover a sole survivor - a female alien creature adorned in light green skin and sporting an extraordinary hairdo, earning her the title: Queen of Blood. The Earth-bound ship becomes her new abode, where unsuccessful attempts to nourish her are soon replaced by a chilling indifference. As the crew slumbers, the alien queen unveils her hypnotic prowess, ensnaring the unsuspecting astronaut on guard and draining him of his lifeblood in a shocking twist of survival. Awakening to a deadly mystery, the crew is quick to piece together the horrifying truth - they've rescued a bloodthirsty alien queen. In a desperate bid to pacify her, they supply her with the ship's stock of blood plasma. But as Earth's blue sphere looms closer, another crew member falls prey to the alien, sparking a violent confrontation that prematurely ends the queen's reign. Their ship finally touches down on Earth, but it's far from a victorious homecoming. The horror escalates when the surviving astronauts stumble upon a clutch of eggs, a chilling revelation of the queen's true purpose - to proliferate her species on a planet teeming with unsuspecting prey. Despite the frantic warnings of the astronauts, the arriving scientists dismiss the threat, naively gathering the alien eggs in the name of science. As one astronaut ruefully notes, "Well, at least I TRIED..." the impending doom casts a long, ominous shadow over Earth, setting the stage for a terrifying alien invasion.
