In the desperate desire for liberation from an abusive relationship, Katherine "Kat" seeks refuge in a wilderness expedition, a journey of self-discovery and resilience alongside a group of women, each contending with their own life uncertainties. Led by the experienced Jean, this motley crew, including Wren, Madison, April, Joy, and Brit, embarks on a transformative sojourn in the heart of nature. Their traditional path is abruptly interrupted by an unexpected blaze, compelling Jean to guide the group through an uncharted terrain, while her partner navigates his van to their anticipated endpoint.
