Plot

In the wake of a daring bank heist, Heller and his motley crew of outlaws find themselves embroiled in a relentless chase, pursued by a determined posse. Their goal is simple yet arduous: cross the border into the sanctuary of Mexico. However, their worn-out horses demand a pitstop, leading them to the seemingly deserted town of Quantez. Heller, the gang's ruthless leader, is a man hardened by his own cynicism, ruling with an iron fist and treating his woman, Chaney, like a disposable possession. His second-in-command, Gentry, is an old-school gunslinger, seasoned and sagacious, a stark contrast to the Eastern newcomer, Teach, who though green, is fervently eager to prove himself. Teach's gentlemanly chivalry towards Chaney stirs up a tempest, putting him at loggerheads with Heller, with Gentry often intervening to prevent bloodshed. The gang's unique element is Gato, a white man raised by the Apache, who navigates the land like a native, speaking fluent Apache dialects and using various tricks to mislead their pursuers. The eerie silence of Quantez doesn't deter them from taking respite, but Gato's nocturnal exploration leads him to a chilling Apache warning: leave by sunrise or face death. However, Gato keeps this ominous discovery to himself. With the threat of the lurking Apache and the escalating tension between Heller and Teach over the captivating Chaney, the gang's hopes of reaching Mexico seem like an increasingly distant dream. In Quantez, they find not just a ghost town, but a crucible of brewing conflict and imminent danger.
