Meet Walter Himmelstein, affectionately known as Putzel, a young man whose world is confined to a family-owned fish store located in Manhattan's upper west side. In this delightful romantic comedy, complete with love, lust, and smoked fish, Putzel's life is as predictable as the tide...until Sally enters the picture. As she becomes entwined in a romantic entanglement with Putzel's married, soon-to-retire uncle—the very man whose fish store Walter is set to inherit—Walter's life begins to ripple and wave in ways he could never have imagined.
