Plot

In the rollicking sequel to his first escapade, Junior Healy and his father, Ben, bid adieu to Cold River and embark on a new life in the idyllic town of Mortville. Nestled in their pleasant abode, Ben, besieged by a bevy of adoring women, yearns for marital bliss and a mother for Junior. Meanwhile, Junior, infamous for his devilish tricks, acclimatizes to his new school, encountering an equally mischievous girl, Trixie, and a dim-witted bully in his sixth-grade class. As Ben dives into the dating pool, Junior, feeling threatened by the prospect of a new mother, employs his notorious pranks to send his father's romantic interests fleeing. Amidst his mischief, including barbecue explosions and scandalous neighborhood broadcasts, Ben crosses paths with the enchanting school nurse, Annie. For Ben, it's love at first sight, but a twist of fate introduces him to the affluent and ambitious LaWanda Dumore. LaWanda, a ruthless businesswoman, is hell-bent on marrying Ben and shipping Junior off to a boarding school in Baghdad. Unbeknownst to Ben, Annie is Trixie's mother, and just like Junior, Trixie is not keen on her parent's romantic endeavors. As Ben grapples with his heart's desire for Annie and the prospect of a secure future with LaWanda, Junior and Trixie form an unlikely alliance. Together, they hatch a plot to derail LaWanda's matrimonial ambitions and unite their parents. In this comical journey of familial bonds, love, and mischief, will Junior and Trixie succeed in their mission? Join the duo in their hilarious adventure to find out, as they turn the peaceful town of Mortville upside down with their shenanigans in "Problem Child 2".
