Presumed Dead In Paradise (2014)

Madison Ashland, a troubled and introverted teenager, has spent her formative years shuffling from one boarding school to another, rather than forging lasting relationships. Her father, Jordan Ashland, passed away when she was young, leaving her in the cold care of Patricia, her alienated stepmother. The bond between them is brittle, marked by distance rather than closeness. In a surprising twist of events, Patricia re-emerges into Madison's life, extending an invitation to revisit St. Isabel, a nostalgic tropical paradise they frequented with Jordan. Madison, although wary, clings to a glimmer of hope that this unexpected journey might mend their strained relations. Upon arrival, Madison crosses paths with Blake, a charismatic local guide. He tempts her with the excitement of a paddleboard excursion to a secluded part of the island. However, out in the open sea, Madison experiences what appears to be a panic attack, falling off her board and vanishing beneath the waves, presumed dead. Against all odds, Madison survives this harrowing ordeal. She claws her way out of the remote jungle, returning to the resort, only to be confronted by an unsettling sight - Patricia and Blake, together, a sight that sends a shiver of suspicion down her spine. As Madison seeks answers, she uncovers a web of deception far more sinister than she could have imagined. Her vacation transforms into a chilling quest for truth, as she finds herself entangled in a dark conspiracy that ominously links back to her late father.
