In the chilling adaptation of Henry James' renowned tale of terror, "The Turn of the Screw," a young and spirited woman (Sadie Frost) embarks on a journey into the unknown as she accepts a position as a governess for two peculiar children, Miles and Flora (Nilo Mur and Ella Jones). The children now find their home under the watchful eye of their enigmatic uncle, the Master (Harvey Keitel), following the untimely demise of their parents. As the new governess, she brims with initial enthusiasm, only to find herself grappling with the children's unruly behavior and the stark hostility from the estate's austere housekeeper, Mrs. Grose (Lauren Bacall).
