In the heart of a seemingly perfect domestic life, attorney Jess and her husband Ryan, a paragon of virtue, navigate the turbulent waters of kinship as they endure the volatile presence of Ryan's ex-convict brother, Roman. Despite the simmering hostility, Ryan remains the steadfast adhesive bonding this fractured family. When he intervenes in Roman's reckless pursuit of his estranged girlfriend Casey, it triggers a catastrophic car accident that plunges both brothers into a deep coma. In the shadowy aftermath of the crash, Jess confronts a reality that teeters on the precipice of the surreal.
