The Grudge (2004)

Karen Davis is an American nurse in Japan, and she has been sent to check on an elderly woman after her regular care worker goes missing. In the home, Karen witnesses a traumatic event, and she is found there later in shock by her employer along with the body of the dead woman. Soon, Karen discovers that the house and anyone who enters it are haunted by a curse, and she must try to escape it before it consumes her as well.
