Once a revered name on the small screen, Ronnie Reno (Klein) is a washed-up TV action hero yearning for a comeback. The path to redemption takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself trapped in a remote, snow-draped Nevada town, a chillingly desolate landscape ruled by ominous meth dealers, led by the sinister Merle (Busey) and his menacing henchman (Durst).
A twist of fate propels Reno into an all too real life-or-death plot when he stumbles upon the lifeless body of an FBI agent. Suddenly, he's thrust into the kind of danger and heroism his screen character used to navigate effortlessly. His only chance of survival lies in reassembling his former on-screen allies, including the charismatic Devon (Beach), for a daring rescue mission.
As the terrified townsfolk look on, Reno must confront his past, rekindle his heroic spirit, and deliver a performance that could save his life, and those of the innocent townspeople. In the gritty reality of a town under siege, life begins to eerily imitate Reno's art in a suspenseful, high-stake drama that blurs the line between fiction and reality.
