Plot

Charming TV host, Will Chaney, is not just a public figure but also a committed father to his somewhat introverted pre-teen son, Benjamin, fondly known as Ben. Following a disillusioned marriage, the only beautiful memory Will cherishes is of his son. Bound by custody rules, Will's heartstrings are tugged as he picks up Ben from Denver airport at the start of every school vacation and drops him off, each time struggling to hold back his tears. During these bittersweet exchanges, he encounters Jane, a fellow divorcée who shares a similar routine with her daughter. Both Will and Jane, being dedicated yet part-time parents, are hesitant to venture into the dating world again, fearing another heartbreak for their children. However, their closest allies - Will's trusty cameraman, Charlie, and Jane's supportive sister, Georgia, encourage them to explore the sparks between them. As Ben warms up to this new normal, he begins addressing his father as 'dad' instead of Will, and gives his vital approval of Jane over another potential partner, thus eliminating Maddie from the picture. With his son's blessing, Will contemplates a bold step, one that might risk his long-awaited promotion from weatherman to news-desk presenter, a dream he has nurtured since his divorce. The movie beautifully intertwines the complexities of parenthood and romance, presenting a poignant tale of love, sacrifice, and second chances.
