In the eerie seclusion of a grand hotel, renowned horror author David Hall has summoned his motley crew of 'friends' for a peculiar weekend summit. Among them are his personal aide, a captivating actress, an enigmatic fortune-teller and the two remaining hotel staff. All have been unnerved by Hall's latest work, "The Resort", finding strikingly familiar characters within its pages. Perry Mason's close friend Jordan White, a respected publisher, is also embroiled in this uncomfortable gathering. The atmosphere thickens with tension as Hall, a notorious prankster, subjects his guests to a series of unsettling tricks.
However, the weekend takes a horrifying turn when Hall is hurled from the hotel's lofty tower. Susan Warrenfield, the owner and manager of the hotel, witnesses the terrifying fall and spots Jordan near the tower. In the blink of an eye, Jordan is ensnared in a web of suspicion and subsequently arrested. As Perry and his confidante Della dive into the heart of the mystery to extricate Jordan, Paul delves into a separate enigma. He seeks to uncover who is attempting to frighten Susan away from her beloved hotel — a spectral presence or a visitor of flesh and blood? This thrilling tale of intrigue and suspense promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
