Peranmai (2009)

Immersed in the verdant heart of the forest, Dhuruvan (Jayam Ravi), a tribal government employee and first generation graduate, is a man of the wilderness. His profound knowledge of the forest becomes instrumental when he leads a group of five NCC college girls - Dhansika, Maha, Liasri, Saranya and Vasundhara - on a trek as part of their camp activity. These young women, initially arrogant and dismissive, find themselves relying on Dhuruvan's expertise when they become entangled in a web of danger spun by a menacing group of foreign terrorists. The trekking adventure unfurls into an unexpected battle when they stumble upon a covert operation led by the ruthless Anderson (Roland Kickenger). The terrorists, hidden within the forest's shadows, are plotting to sabotage India's mission to launch a revolutionary satellite into orbit. Their sinister plan involves using a strategic location within the forest to strike the satellite with a missile. Upon discovering this nefarious plot, Dhuruvan and the group of girls find themselves in a precarious position.
