Plot
In Imperial China, young Mulan is more interested in action, adventure and serving in the army than finding a suitor, being prim and proper and wearing girly clothes. Devastated that her father must leave to serve, she falls into a deep despair. Undeterred, she cuts her hair, finds the right uniform and transforms herself into a boy to go fight. Will she succeed, and save her father, or fail and be discovered?
