Patriots Day (2016)

On the day of the 2013 running of the Boston Marathon, Police Sergeant Tommy Saunders is on security duty when two terrorist brothers set off homemade bombs, killing three civilians and injuring 264. As paramedics deal with the carnage, Saunders, Boston Police and the FBI team up to identify and track down the bombers. Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev are Chechen/Kyrgyzstani-Americans not about the be caught without a fight. They kill an MIT policeman, steal a car and lead authorities on a wild chase and bullet-riddled shootout. The harrowing events play out across Boston over a period of four days.
