Park City (2015)

In the heart of the indie filmmaking world, Park City unfurls the tale of an ambitious film crew who find themselves engulfed in chaos and confusion. Our protagonists, Joey, a determined director wearied by the industry, and Hannah, a sharp-witted producer, embark on a tumultuous journey to the acclaimed Sundance Film Festival. Stowed in the back of Joey's weather-beaten Prius lies the celluloid heart of their venture, a film titled Hearts and Cash. Their motley crew includes Jill, their high-strung, cat-loving lead actress, and Dave, their overzealous production assistant whose trusty iPhone chronicles their Sundance saga. The road to success, however, is strewn with stumbling blocks - a desert devoid of gas stations, an ill-affordable Las Vegas hotel room, and the ruthless reality of the film industry. Upon reaching Park City, their attempts to blend into the glitterati at a swanky industry gathering go awry. Hannah's pitch to a Hollywood heavyweight, Mr. Cohn, is overshadowed by Jill's blatant flirtations, with her eyes set firmly on the sparkle of stardom. Disheartened by the superficiality of the soiree, Hannah, Joey, and Dave seek solace in a cozy local tavern, where a night of reckless drinking and failed flirtations ensues. The dawn greets Hannah in a nacho-filled bathtub within a plush ski lodge, while Joey wakes to a similar oblivion. Their memories of the previous night are as vacant as the trunk of their car, which, to their horror, has been relieved of their precious film print. With the screening just a mere four hours away, the team must navigate their alcohol-clouded memories to recover their lost film, leading them on a wild, desperate chase against time.
