Plot

In the isolated expanse of a high-rise tower block, Andrew Deeley, a music journalist scarred both physically and emotionally, leads a life of solitude. His world, though seemingly barren, revolves obsessively around Kem, a captivating Chinese woman who lives next door. Deeley, ensnared by her ethereal charm, finds himself further secluded from the outside world, his only human connection being Amy, a married woman he encounters online. When disaster strikes — a chilling scene of Kem's abduction witnessed by Amy — Deeley is thrust into an unexpected journey. With no one else to turn to, he takes it upon himself to trace Kem's whereabouts, armed only with an Oyster card and a hammer. As he delves deeper, he finds himself spiralling into the sinister labyrinth of the Triad underworld. In this riveting tale of obsession and desperation, Deeley not only confronts his inner demons but also embarks on a daring pursuit of a woman forgotten by the world. His quest is fraught with danger and uncertainty, but the burning desire to find Kem fuels his courage, compelling him to venture further into the shadows. Will Deeley find the strength to save Kem, or will he succumb to the relentless darkness of the underworld?
