Plot

In the heart of Columbia University's School of Fine Arts, Louise Harrington, a thirty-something admissions officer, finds herself trapped in a life of monotony and regret. Divorced and unsatisfied, her world revolves around evaluating graduate applications, until one day an application stands out, not for its artistic merit, but for the uncanny resemblance the young applicant has to her high school sweetheart, an artist tragically lost in a car accident two decades ago. As Louise arranges to interview the young painter, F. Scott Feinstadt, the past and present collide in a dizzying whirl of emotions. Scott, bearing an eerie similarity to Louise's one true love, ignites a passionate and fiercely uninhibited affair. Yet, beneath the surface of their romance, questions linger. Is Scott a second chance at love or a painful reminder of what she lost? Or perhaps, is he a young ambitious painter simply attempting to charm his way into the Ivy League? The plot thickens as Louise's high school best friend, Missy, re-enters the picture, vying for Scott's affections. Meanwhile, Louise's co-dependent ex-husband Peter, her cynical mother, and her recently rehabilitated brother add to the intricate web of relationships. "P.S.", a poignant exploration of love, loss, and second chances, is a tale that invites viewers to question whether we can ever truly move on from our past, or if we are doomed to relive it in unexpected ways.
