Out Cold (1989)

In the heart of a small town, Sunny is unhappily married to Ernie, a local butcher. Their souring union teeters on the brink of dissolution, as clandestine affairs gnaw at the fabric of their relationship. Determined to secure a divorce, Sunny enlists the services of Lester Atlas, a sharp-eyed private investigator, to gather irrefutable evidence. One fateful evening, a drunken brawl erupts in the butcher shop between Ernie and his partner, Dave. The fight culminates with Ernie being knocked unconscious and left in the chilling embrace of a fridge, where the cold night claims his life. However, it's not the fight but Sunny's sinister intent that leads to Ernie's demise. The only person who has the evidence of Sunny's malevolent deed is Lester, but her deadly determination knows no bounds. Sunny eliminates him, leaving only Dave as a possible witness to her atrocious crimes. However, Dave manages to escape from the icy confines of the fridge, fuelled by a thirst for vengeance. 'Out Cold' weaves a chilling tale of deceit, murder, and revenge. Sunny's murderous spree hangs in the balance as Dave, the only living threat to her freedom, plots his retaliation against the icy-hearted woman who attempted to cast him into the same cold oblivion as Ernie.
