In the vibrant heart of Sevilla, Andalusia, we meet Sara, a woman who seemingly has it all. She basks in the success of her professional life as a life insurance worker and relishes in the comfort of her eight-year marriage to Daniel. Her life takes a turn when she stumbles upon a real estate gem - an impressively inexpensive, roomy, and luminously lit apartment in the city. However, the apartment comes with an unusual condition: she cannot move in until the current owner, Lola, passes away. Lola is an elderly woman who is anything but ordinary. A chain-smoking, liquor-loving, free-spirited survivor of a triple bypass, she's a whirlwind of vivacity.
