Amidst the palpable tension, a vibrant North Korean squad commander, Lee Seong-Jae, stands as an emblem of passion for the beautiful game. His love for football is so profound that he has memorized the names of every player in the South Korean national team, yet he finds himself frustrated, isolated from the thrilling fervor gripping the South.
Under the star-studded Asian sky, an unexpected encounter occurs during a nocturnal search operation. As Seong-Jae and his troops chase a boar to satiate their gnawing hunger, they stumble upon their South Korean counterparts. A collision of ideologies is anticipated, but instead, they discover a shared love for football that transcends borders and dissolves their enmities.
In the heart of the DMZ, a clandestine bond is formed. Soldiers from both sides, against all odds, engage in secret radio communications to share the adrenaline of the matches together, their camaraderie symbolized in the echo of the crowd's roaring cheers and the commentator's excited voice. But when the veil is lifted from their secret, Seong-Jae and his troops find themselves in a precarious situation, their newfound unity under threat.
