Plot
In the heart of a towering bureau, Kim Byong-gook commands as a section chief. His facade as a dedicated family man fails to conceal his unpopularity amongst his colleagues. One bone-chilling day, Byong-gook commits an unthinkable act, annihilating his entire family before vanishing into thin air.
Detective Jong-hoon, a seasoned investigator with a sharp intellect, is assigned to the perplexing case. He delves into Byong-gook's professional life, seeking clues among the section chief's wary colleagues, only to be met with a wall of silence. All except for Lee Mi-rae, a young woman whose eyes hint at a deeper knowledge of the elusive suspect.
Jong-hoon, intrigued yet wary, senses that Mi-rae is holding back a crucial piece of the puzzle. In his quest for truth, he turns to the cold, unblinking eye of the CCTV. Here, he spots Byong-gook entering the monolithic bureau, never to emerge again.
As Jong-hoon concludes that Kim must be lurking within the building's cold, concrete walls, a wave of dread washes over the office staff. An undercurrent of fear tinges their routine, the once mundane office space now a hunting ground for a potentially lurking predator. Their fears prove to be well-founded, and the bureau's humdrum life is set to spiral into terror.
