North Star (1996)

In the frost-kissed wilderness of Alaska during the late 1800s, the glimmer of gold ignites a fevered rush. This frenzied pursuit of fortune gives birth to the small mining town, gripped within the ruthless hands of Sean McLennon. Ensnared by ambition, McLennon seeks dominance, acquiring mining claims in the chilling aftermath of their owners' tragic demise, often orchestrated by his sinister "assistants". However, his path of unchecked avarice is challenged by Hudson Saanteek, a half-Indian hunter with veins of steel and a claim of his own. After slipping through the cold fingers of McLennon's henchmen, Saanteek returns to the town with a heart aflame with retribution. The odds are daunting, with McLennon's army boasting superior numbers and firepower, but Saanteek is armed with more than just courage. His survival instincts, honed by the unforgiving Alaskan wild, and an intimate knowledge of the wilderness, make him a formidable adversary. The stage is set for a showdown, where the burning desire for gold and vengeance clash against the icy backdrop of the Alaskan frontier, testing the mettle of the hunter and the hunted.
