In the heart of the southern US town of Henleyville, where the rhythm of life plays to the hum of O.P. Henley Textiles, resides spirited and resilient Norma Rae Wilson, a widowed mother of two. Like the roots of a tree, Norma Rae and her kin are deeply intertwined with the textile mill, their livelihoods woven into the fabric of this singular employer.
