On the precipice of disaster is where we find Eli, a 15-year-old grappling with an eating disorder, navigating the tumultuous seas of his life. He's marooned in a neighborhood that has seen better days, sharing his dwelling with his mother Sima and grandfather Yefet, both former addicts striving for a semblance of normalcy. Eli's father, an unemployed artist and a street philosopher, is a beacon of eccentricity in this harsh environment, his life marred by the haze of alcoholism. In this world, where volatility is the only constant, nothing remains within its intended boundaries—everything is magnified, intensified. Eli's fervent attempts to stitch together the frayed threads of his disintegrating family spiral out of hand. A seemingly insignificant quarrel within the family detonates like a time bomb, resulting in a disaster of epic proportions. As the dust settles, it becomes clear that everyone has paid the ultimate price in this unforgiving saga.
