Teetering on the edge of emotional collapse, Pía (Paz Bascuñán) grapples with a life that seems to be spiraling out of control. Her heart aches as she contends with a barrage of indignities—her boss's constant belittling, her husband's apparent indifference, her stepson's blatant disrespect, and her best friend's obliviousness. As her chest pain intensifies, Pía exhausts all conventional remedies and reluctantly resorts to acupuncture.
An astute Chinese doctor discerns that her physical discomfort stems from unexpressed emotional turmoil. With the use of an ancient technique, he removes Pía's metaphorical filter, liberating her voice and her suppressed sentiments. Suddenly, Pía finds herself without a verbal restraint, unleashing her thoughts with unfiltered honesty. As she navigates this newfound freedom, she discovers that her path to healing might not be as straightforward as she had hoped. As Pía confronts the consequences of her unfiltered life, the audience is left wondering if honesty truly is the best policy.
