Plot

In the heart of London, Tom, a young man besieged by AIDS, shares a life with his devoted partner, Ira. The illness amplifies Tom's already heightened nerves, sparking an impulsive journey to Glasgow, the city of his estranged family whom he last saw a decade ago. His brother Ian recoils from Tom's way of life with revulsion, while their mother alone shows him a sliver of empathy. As Tom's mental faculties unravel in the throes of dementia, the visit spirals into a haunting ordeal, his health deteriorating at an alarming pace. In the face of this accelerating crisis, Ira is compelled to steer Tom back to their London home, bracing himself for Tom's impending demise. However, post-treatment, Tom experiences a fleeting respite, and amidst the chaos, stumbles upon a profound realization - his true kinship lies not in blood, but in the chosen family he found in London.
