Plot

Thrust into a web of familial complexities by the death of their father, Tesla and her estranged brother Nik are forced to coexist under one roof for a year due to an unusual inheritance stipulation. A gap of over two decades separates them, yet the walls of their shared home, echoing with memories, bring them face to face with each other and their past. Tesla's children add to the tumultuous household dynamic. Sebastiano, a remarkable cellist grappling with high-functioning schizophrenia, is the subject of Tesla's life-consuming devotion, while Carolina, her daughter, remains at the heart of a strained and conflict-ridden bond. As the siblings navigate their way through the rough seas of cohabitation, a storm of arguments and confrontations ensues. Yet amid the chaos, an unexpected kinship blossoms between Nik and his gifted nephew, Sebastiano. The passage of time sees the household inching towards equilibrium, but tranquility is fleeting. A string of unforeseen circumstances pushes each character to confront their deepest fears and hidden secrets, propelling them on a challenging journey. It is a path fraught with emotional turmoil and familial discord, but one that could ultimately lead to self-acceptance, forgiveness, and the reaffirmation of their familial bonds. This poignant tale of love, conflict, and reconciliation explores the intricate dynamics of a family thrown together by fate and bound by the ties that define them.
