Toula Portokalos-Miller is still happily married after the events of the first film, but that doesn't mean that life is bliss. The recession has caused both her travel agency and her family's dry cleaners to go out of business, and that means that her only option is to work at her father's restaurant. Her daughter is growing up and looking to get away from her immediate family. When a chance discovery reveals that a clerical error means Toula's mother and father were never technically married. Could their chaotic attempt at getting remarried 50 years later actually bring the family closer together?
