In the quaint town of Sathyamangalam, vibrant with life and colour, Gopi (Vishnu) operates a thriving photo studio, aptly named Hollywood Studio, with his dedicated assistant Alagumani (Kaali) at his side. Their harmonious world is turned upside down when an unusual assignment leads them to the remote village of Mundasupatti, a place shrouded in superstition and fear. Here, the villagers live in the shadow of a bizarre belief: the mere act of being photographed is a death sentence, a conviction rooted in a chilling tale told in hushed whispers. In this peculiar village, Gopi is tasked with the delicate mission of capturing the fading image of the dying village head, a task fraught with tension and danger. However, amidst the fear and chaos, a spark of romance ignites. Gopi finds himself irresistibly drawn towards the village chief's enchanting daughter, Kalaivani (Nandita), an attraction that blossoms into a forbidden love, as she is already promised to another. Adding to the complexity, Gopi must navigate around the antics of her ambitious uncle, Muniskanth (Ramdoss). Obsessed with dreams of superstardom, Muniskanth becomes a constant thorn in Gopi's side, complicating his quest for love.
