Mud (2013)

Two teenage boys who live a hardscrabble life on the banks of an Arkansas river encounter a strange sight one day. It’s a boat suspended high in a tree. The boat apparently lodged there during a flood. The boys investigate and are surprised to see that someone has been using the “treehouse boat” as a home. It's a desperate man named Mud. He’s on the run from bounty hunters who want him for a murder he may have committed in Texas. Mud convinces the boys to help him plot an escape and to reunite with his girlfriend.
