Plot

Kim Getty is an enigma residing amidst the bustling streets of modern-day Brooklyn, a woman with a secret that transcends time. From 400 years in the future, she's a temporal immigrant navigating the peculiarities of contemporary life, her lack of understanding about cultural customs and simple norms hinting at her extraordinary origins. Her world revolves around a steady job and a shared apartment, her life hushed and solitary, her interactions filled with evasive half-truths. Kim's existence is an intriguing blend of naiveté and adaptation, her curious inquiries about things as mundane as coffee sweeteners or the essence of a Zinfandel serving as a humorous testament to her alien-ness. The absolute lack of a social footprint raises her roommate's suspicion, reinforcing her aura of mystery. However, Kim's self-imposed isolation shatters when she stumbles upon two familiar souls from her distant future - a precocious 15-year-old girl and Kim's own estranged husband. As she grapples with this unexpected reunion, the tranquility of her life in Brooklyn is threatened. Kim finds herself caught in a tense balancing act, striving to protect the simple life she has meticulously built from the tumultuous past that has tracked her down. In a world where she was once alone, Kim must now confront her past and future simultaneously, battling to prevent the life she left behind from ravaging the life she has grown to love. In this unique fusion of time-travel and drama, Kim's journey explores the lengths one would go to for a second chance at an 'easier' life.
