In the bustling city of Atlanta, three years have passed since Emery Simms was unjustly incarcerated for a horrendous crime he didn't commit. His closest ally, Brandon (Blakemore), and former wife, Connie (Fox), have since woven a new life together, managing a thriving restaurant and nightclub. Their tranquil existence, however, is shattered when Simms meets a tragic end within the prison walls, and a startling revelation implicates Brandon in the unjust imprisonment of his friend. Suddenly, the mysterious figure of Donovan (White), Emery's long-separated brother, steps into the scene, fueled by a relentless quest to unearth the volatile truth behind his brother's downfall. As he peels back layers of motives, deceit, and falsehoods, he edges closer to the shocking reality.
