Plot

In the stately halls of Dunsfield University, esteemed Paleontology Professor Donald Blake finds himself the recipient of an extraordinary relic of the past - a coelacanth, a species untouched by evolution for over a million years, shipped all the way from Madagascar. This fascinating creature, encapsulated in frozen time, inadvertently inflicts a wound on Blake with its razor-sharp teeth, leading him to soothe his injury in the meltwater that encases the fish. Mystery soon engulfs the campus when Molly Riordan, a seemingly unconnected individual, is discovered lifeless in Blake's backyard. The authorities, their suspicions piqued, turn their gaze towards Blake, but the hint of a third unseen presence at his residence keeps them guessing. Unbeknownst to them, a monstrous transformation has taken hold of Blake, courtesy of his encounter with the ancient fish. Morphing into a prehistoric beast of terrifying proportions, he turns the serene campus into a chilling hunting ground, leaving a trail of victims in his wake. As the body count rises, the once-respected professor becomes the monstrous enigma that lurks in the shadows of the university, setting the stage for a tale where prehistoric horror meets academic intrigue.
