Mithai (2019)

When Sai, a man trapped in the monotonous cycle of his humdrum job, finds himself abruptly unemployed with a wedding three days away, he drowns his worries in alcohol alongside his companion, Jani. However, his world is suddenly thrown into chaos when his home is burglarized, and the loss of a priceless diamond necklace turns his life upside down. In the throes of his misfortune, Sai engages in a reckless wager with Krishna, a successful NRI friend: he won't tie the knot until the elusive thief is apprehended. As Sai and Jani plunge into their madcap quest, they cross paths with an eccentric character known as Dude, a laid-back, pot-imbibing nonconformist with a pet goat as his sidekick. With the clock ticking relentlessly towards Sai's impending nuptials, their pursuit becomes a frantic race against time, pushing them into a whirlwind of trouble and self-discovery. Will they locate the culprit before the wedding bells ring, or will they lose themselves in this wild goose chase?
