Plot

In the compelling film Miracle Run, Corrine Morgan-Thomas, a single mother of twin boys, finds herself navigating the treacherous waters of social stigma and discrimination against autism. Her world shatters when her sons, Stephen and Philip, are diagnosed with autism after a series of misdiagnoses and dismissive attitudes from doctors. Shock and disbelief initially consume Corrine, but she eventually embraces the truth, only to be abandoned by her husband who refuses to accept their children's condition. Undeterred by her personal turmoil, Corrine resolves to combat societal prejudices against autism. In a daring move, she enrolls her twins in a mainstream school, deciding not to disclose their diagnosis. When accused of child abuse, she reveals her sons' condition, leading to a recommendation for a different school better suited to their needs. Yet, Corrine remains steadfast in her belief that her boys deserve the same opportunities as any other child. Miracle Run is a poignant journey of a mother's unyielding faith in her children’s potential, even when the world seems to have forsaken them. As the story unfolds, Corrine's indefatigable spirit serves as a beacon of hope, inspiring her twins to surpass expectations and achieve the unthinkable. This film is a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the belief that children, regardless of their challenges, can indeed reach the stars if given the chance.
