Plot

In the wake of divorce and a heartbreaking loss of her children, Mitch finds herself journeying towards Oaxaca, accompanied by her brother Sam, a skilled photographer. Their journey incurs a brief pause in the pulsating heart of Mexico City, where Sam vanishes into the night's revelry, only to never return. With a mounting sense of dread, Mitch turns to the American embassy for assistance and allies herself with Pedro, a local taxi driver. Together, they plunge into the city's vibrant underbelly, where Mitch confronts a fearsome gang leader in the cantina where Sam was last seen. Her courage yields Sam's camera, and with it, a roll of film etching out a cryptic narrative that lures a relentless cadre of criminals into the fray. Caught in a lethal game of cat and mouse, Mitch must navigate the tumultuous streets of Mexico City, decipher the haunting images captured on Sam's final roll of film, and unearth the truth about his disappearance. The question lingers - in this city of strangers, who can Mitch truly trust? Can she rescue Sam, unravel the secrets he stumbled upon, and emerge unscathed from this perilous quest?
