Plot

In the tranquil heart of Blackwater, Louisiana, a typical summer afternoon transforms into an unforgettable cosmic event. As the local townsfolk spill out of a vintage theater, their eyes are drawn to a meteor streaking across the sky, smashing through the roof of the Natural History Museum. Unbeknownst to them, the meteor is a spacecraft, ferrying a shape-shifting alien life form intent on adapting to Earth's atmosphere. In its quest for survival, the alien latches onto an unexpected host - a partially frozen Woolly Mammoth, the crown jewel of the town's historic exhibit, creating a monstrous hybrid fueled by primordial fury and extra-terrestrial power. As the alien-possessed mammoth awakens, it brings with it a reign of terror and destruction, turning the sleepy town into a chaotic battlefield. Government Agents Powers and Whitaker arrive with a daunting task - neutralize the rampaging mammoth within 17 hours or witness the annihilation of the entire town. They enlist the aid of Frank Abernathy, the museum curator and local paleontologist, whose intimate knowledge of the mammoth forms their only hope of survival. But for Abernathy, the stakes are personal - his daughter and B-movie enthusiast father are in the path of the marauding mammoth. In a thrilling blend of 50s alien-invasion suspense and 70s nature's revenge drama, Abernathy must grapple with the devastation of his life's work and rally against time to save his family, the town, and potentially the world. As the body count rises and the clock ticks down, the race against the mammoth becomes a wild, pulse-pounding adventure that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
