In the bustling heart of London, an American law student's life takes an unexpected detour. After a chance encounter with a mysterious black cab, she awakens in a world far removed from her own - an eerie Wonderland. The narrative follows her harrowing exploits as she is reluctantly towed through a labyrinth of the city's underbelly, populated by an array of bizarre characters and seedy misfits, all under the dubious guidance of the enigmatic cabbie, Whitey. Stricken with amnesia, she must rely on her dwindling wits to retrace her steps, uncover her identity and navigate her way back home. As her odyssey unravels, she is confronted with the unsettling reality that appearances are deceptive, the threads of fate and existence are irrevocably interwoven, and that the promise of true love may be lurking in the most unexpected corners.
