In the grit and grind of Chicago's southern slums, young Tracy Chambers dreams of a life that transcends her current reality. Working as a secretary for Miss Evans at a high-end downtown department store, Tracy juggles her day job with the pursuit of her ultimate aspiration: becoming a world-renowned fashion designer. Her dedication is unwavering, a burning ambition that sometimes clashes with her responsibilities, but she is willing to sacrifice anything to turn her dreams into reality.
