Love Locks (2017)

A vibrant art magazine owner in New York, Lindsey Wilson, finds herself at the crossroads of romance and ambition. Trent Greer, a global publisher, presents her with a tantalizing dual proposition. He wishes to acquire her successful magazine, promising to elevate it to a larger market while retaining her pivotal role. Simultaneously, he extends an invitation for a date, setting her assistant Maggie in a flutter, as she regards Trent as the epitome of male beauty. As Lindsey contemplates these offers, she embarks on a week-long escapade to Paris with her art-student daughter, Alexa. Revisiting Paris after two decades, Lindsey is submerged in a flood of nostalgia. During her art studies at the Sorbonne, she had fallen head over heels for an American, Jack Burrow, whose love story was left unfinished by a heart-rending separation. A symbolic lock, meant to represent their love on one of the Seine's bridges, instead took a plunge into the river - a poignant metaphor for their lost love. Now, in an unexpected twist of fate, Lindsey and Jack's paths cross again. The sparks fly anew, despite Jack's current relationship with Nicole. The past and present intertwine as Jack finds himself falling for Lindsey again, but hesitates to express his feelings, given the echo of their past and the distance of their lives. Meanwhile, Alexa finds herself smitten with Jean-Paul, a bellboy at their hotel and a fellow Sorbonne student, paralleling her mother's romantic history. Their journey takes a new turn with the arrival of Trent in Paris, who, aside from his business intentions, is determined to sweep Lindsey off her feet. These intertwining love stories, further stirred by encounters with a recently widowed British tourist, Kathryn, spin a captivating tale of rediscovery and second chances. With the city's famous "love locks" as a backdrop, Lindsey's Parisian adventure becomes more than just a trip. The city of love rekindles old flames and ignites new ones, making Lindsey question whether her first love might indeed be her everlasting one.
