Love & Friendship (2016)

Susan Vernon is a young widow, but being a young widow in the 1790s means that she again needs the security of a man with the wealth to support her as she's accustomed. Settled in temporarily at the home of her in-laws, Susan sets out to find a suitable match for both herself and her daughter Frederica. But there's a reason she's in hiding from high society. She left in the midst of scandal, and it's unlikely that she'll be able to avoid developing new scandals while she's in temporary banishment to the country estate in Churchill.
