In the heart of their adolescence, Kosuke and Natsume share a bond forged in the fires of childhood camaraderie. Yet, as the sands of time trickle down, the once inseparable pair find themselves caught in a web of unspoken tension, their paths diverging more with every passing day. The calm of their summer break is disrupted when they are drawn to a soon-to-be demolished housing complex nestled in their past. This place, a capsule of countless shared memories, beckons them towards one last adventure.
Their playful exploits are abruptly interrupted by a bewildering phenomenon that leaves them unconscious. Awakening to the vast expanse of an unknown sea stretching before them, they find their nostalgic haven has been transplanted into this mysterious marine landscape, carrying them along in its wake. Stranded in this alien world, they are left grappling with a single, haunting question: can they ever reclaim the familiar world they once knew?
