Plot
Caught in the clutches of writer's block, part-time bartender and aspiring novelist, Goo Joo-wol, embarks on an unexpected journey that takes him to the heart of Berlin. As a translator for his publishing company's president, he finds himself amidst an insipid gathering of movie moguls. Seeking a respite from the monotonous revelry, Joo-wol steps out to enjoy a quiet smoke under the Berlin night sky.
It is here, under the twinkling constellations, that he crosses paths with the enchanting Hee-Jin. As their eyes meet over a shared cigarette, Joo-wol is swept away by an irresistible wave of love. Their connection, though brief, leaves a lasting imprint on his heart.
Upon their return to the bustling streets of Seoul, Joo-wol, smitten and hopeful, sends a whimsical letter and a basket of flowers to Hee-Jin, igniting the spark of a romantic correspondence. As he nervously awaits her response, his world begins to revolve around the sound of his phone ringing, each ring a promise of their impending second encounter.
As the phone finally rings with Hee-Jin's voice at the other end, viewers are left to wonder: will this chance meeting in Berlin bloom into a timeless love story, or will it merely remain a beautiful memory etched into the fabric of the city's enchanting nights? Only time, and a second meeting, will tell.
