Jenna Turner, a fiercely driven single mom and successful author, embarks on her annual five-week summer vacation at the idyllic Georgia seaside with her two adolescent kids, Ally and Nick, and their close friends. This year, Jenna's retreat is not just about relaxation but also work, as she is on a strict deadline to deliver her next teen novel. The family's new setting is a different vacation property closer to a summer day camp for the kids, a move engineered to provide Jenna with the tranquility she needs to finish her book.
