Plot

In 'Lost Child', also known as 'Tatterdemalion', a young army veteran, burdened by the invisible scars of PTSD, finds herself drawn back to the haunting familiarity of her home in the Ozarks. Her mission is personal and painful: to seek out her estranged brother who seems swallowed by the verdant wilderness. Her quest takes an unexpected turn when she stumbles upon a forsaken boy in the heart of the woods. With his presence, the mystery thickens like the fog that whispers secrets among the trees. As she plunges deeper into the enigma of the child's identity, she unearths a clandestine world intricately woven with folklore, dictated by age-old clan rules and shrouded in layers of deception. The more she uncovers, the more perilous her path becomes. But the soldier within her refuses to retreat. She finds herself willingly stepping into the line of fire, risking her own life to shield the boy and to unearth the elusive truth. 'Lost Child' is more than a dramatic thriller - it's a chilling journey into the heart of darkness, where reality and myth intertwine, and where courage must rise to confront the shadows of the past.
