Haunted by grief and plagued by nightmares, Louis Olsen, a city dweller, seeks solace in the tranquil embrace of Southwest Minnesota's rural countryside. His quest for peace, however, takes an unexpected turn when he inadvertently desecrates the resting place of a supposed local witch, Mary Jane Terlinden. What was initially a serene retreat rapidly spirals into an eerie nightmare, an inescapable terror that Louis finds himself entrapped in. Yet, as the boundary between reality and fear blurs, one begins to question - is this chilling horror truly unfolding, or is it a sinister creation of Louis's haunted psyche?
